Reschedule Policy

The Contract ends on the contract end date unless one of the parties ends the contract before that time. If one of the parties chooses to end the Contract prior to Project completion, the Client is responsible for paying for all work and costs incurred up until that date.

All catering events are rain or shine and cannot be canceled due to weather. We are fully aware of the global pandemic and have taken all precautions internally to combat the spreading of the virus. If your event requires our staff to be COVID tested prior to serving, a $75 fee per working staff member will be added to the remaining balance. Any event booked during the pandemic will take full responsibility for their guest and your event will be subject to our standard cancellation policy. Deposits are 25%-50% depending on the amount of guest being catered to to reserve our services for the event and are non refundable.

Deposits are non-refundable. Events canceled within 7-15 days of the event date will be subject to 75% of the overall quoted catering fee. Events canceled within 7 days of the event date will be subject to 100% of the overall invoice total. In the event that YummY’s Funnel Cakes cannot honor agreed upon services due to damage, accident, equipment failure, emergency maintenance, or similar cause, YummY’s Funnel Cakes will use commercially reasonable efforts to service the event.

Inclement Weather: In the event of inclement weather conditions, it may be necessary for the event to be moved. The client must contact YummY’s Funnel Cakes at least 10 hours prior to the start time of the event, if a determination is made to move the event to another venue. YummY’s Funnel Cakes will make every effort possible to replicate the agreed upon products and services in the new venue.

Invoice Policy

The Client agrees to pay invoice(s) by the due date(s) specified. Unpaid or overdue invoices may result in suspension or termination of the service. Invoices must be paid in full 3-5 days prior to the event date. To reserve your booking, 50% of the deposit is due upfront, and must be paid within 72 hours of the invoice being sent. 

We operate on a first come first serve basis. Any invoices that are not paid within 72 hours, will result in an automatic cancellation to allow the date to become available for other clients . Any bookings reserved within 7 days of the upcoming event, must be paid in full.

Please note: For all pre-paid menu items, there are no refunds on unfulfilled items, due to guest not reaching pre-determined amount. Example: Client prepaid for 100 cakes to service 100 guest, but only 80 cakes were made. No reimbursement will be provided. 

Forms of Payment:  

  • Visa, Mastercard, Amex, & Discover, Debit/Credit cards

  • Paper Check: No personal checks accepted. Corporate/Business checks only and must be received prior to the event date. 

  • ACH: Corporate ACH Deposits only, no personal. Must be processed prior to the event date. 

In the event that the final invoice is not paid on time, the client will be responsible for late payment charges. Each day that an invoice is late past the due date ,the client will incur a 5% late fee each subsequent day the invoice is late.  


Truck Rental Policy

Each guest will receive the agreed upon menu items from the booked catering package. YummY’s Funnel cakes will make every effort to supply all necessary toppings for events, but if a topping is not available, YummY will notify the client in advance.

YummY’s will provide all necessary items for a full-service experience, including serve ware, napkins, utensils and trash removal.

YummY’s requires a parking space that is 30 feet long and 15 feet wide and 15 feet of clearance above the truck, with space to open up service doors and serve guests. The parking area must be able to support a vehicle weight of 15,000 lbs. We must be parked on a level concrete surface. No inclines, hills, or unleveled foundations. The truck is equipped with hot oil and could cause a spill over. Unleveled foundations are considered hazardous and the fryer will initiate an automatic shutdown. If YummY’s arrives to the location and there is not leveled ground, client will pay 100% of the remaining cost of the balance and YummY’s will not be able to service the event.

Packages: A 10% truck service charge is included in all packages.

Custom Quote Only: An eighteen percent (18%) service charge will be included in the final billing on all food, beverage and labor. The service charge covers the use of our equipment, kitchen essentials, buffet décor, energy costs, liability insurance fees, and all necessary permits and other administrative expenses.

Licenses

The Business promises that it holds all licenses necessary to perform the work, that such licenses are valid and effective as of the date any work is performed or services provided, and that all work performed or services provided will be done in compliance with all applicable federal, state, or local laws and regulations.

If the event is on private property, permits are usually not required. However, catered events on public property often require a local permit. It is the client's responsibility to verify that YummY's can park and serve at an event site.
